Coffee World Tour – Official Rules and Regulations

1. Contest Period
The Coffee Around the World Contest (the “Contest”) begins on September 2, 2025 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT (the “Contest Period”). The winner will be announced on November 7, 2025.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia and Alberta, who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, or agents of Waves Coffee House, its franchisees, advertising or promotional agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
During the Contest Period, customers may pick up a Coffee Around the World Passport at participating Waves Coffee House locations.
Each purchase of a featured international coffee drink earns one (1) stamp in the passport.
Collecting ten (10) stamps equals one (1) entry into the Contest.
Visiting multiple Waves Coffee House locations will earn bonus entries as outlined in-store.
No purchase necessary: To enter without purchase, participants may submit a hand-written letter of at least 100 words describing how Waves Coffee is their place to connect. Mail entries to: Waves Coffee House Contest, 715 Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC or email info@wavescoffee.ca. Limit of one (1) mailed or email entry per person. Mailed and emailed entries must be received by October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT.
4. Prizes
Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. Waves Coffee House reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if unavailable.
Grand Prize
A weekend getaway and spa package at Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon, BC. Includes two nights’ accommodation, spa access, and a dining credit. Transportation not included. The winner will have 12 months from November 7, 2025 to November 7, 2026 to book their stay. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance, are subject to availability, and cannot be booked during peak weekends such as holidays or long weekends.
Second Prize
A choice of a coffee- or matcha-inspired gift basket, subject to availability.
Third Prize
A $50 Waves Coffee House gift card.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
On November 7, 2025, one (1) Grand Prize winner, one (1) Second Prize winner, and one (1) Third Prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received.
Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within five (5) business days. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a skill-testing question (as required by Canadian contest law).
6. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Waves Coffee House, which are final.
Waves Coffee House reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that does not comply with these rules or attempts to interfere with the Contest.
Winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and likeness in any publicity carried out by Waves Coffee House without further compensation.
Waves Coffee House is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical or human error.
By participating, entrants release Waves Coffee House, its affiliates, franchisees, and partners from any liability related to participation in the Contest or the acceptance/use of a prize.
7. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used only for the purposes of administering this Contest and will not be shared with third parties except as required for Contest fulfillment.
8. Governing Law
The Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
